Who do Arsenal need to sell?
Who do Arsenal need to sell?

Arsenal’s transfer policy appears to have changed recently, with Mikel Arteta handed significant amounts to land his summer targets.
Ben White, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Odegaard, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Nuno Tavares all joined the Gunners in the summer for a total of £149m – the most in the Premier League.
But while they managed to secure a lot of talent coming into the club, they were unable to move a lot of players onto pastures new, with only Joe Willock leaving permanently.
But this January it will be Arteta’s main goal to see some of the lesser members of his squad sold to generate more funds to bring in that all important goal scorer.
We look at who could be on their way out of the Gunners squad this January.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
The Gabonese forward was only made captain recently, but that has already been stripped, as has his place in the team as Arteta has had enough of his disciplinary failings, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah starting ahead of him.
Aubameyang will leave on a free in the summer as his contract comes to an end then, but with Lacazette’s contract also finishing then, it would seem that Arsenal would like to part ways with Aubameyang now, in order to generate some sort of transfer fee.
Newcastle were rumoured to be interested for about £20m, which Arsenal would undoubtedly take, but so far nothing has materialised of that and each day of January that passes, the more likely it is that he will stay.
Bernd Leno
But once Ramsdale was given a chance, he has been excellent, and Leno has been reduced to playing in the cups.
A keeper of his stature and on his salary probably ought to be moved on and it is rumoured that Leno would like to leave the club, with German sides Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen hoping to secure the services of the 29-year-old.
Pablo Mari
The Spanish centre back joined from Brazilian side Flamengo on a permanent deal just last season but has since seen the Gunners sign Gabriel, White and Tomiyasu in the central defending role, while Rob Holding is ahead of him in the pecking order, meaning it is unlikely that Mari will find himself into the team any time soon.
Calum Chambers
Chambers has been at Arsenal for eight years, but his contract runs out at the end of the season, meaning for the Gunners to generate any money for the defender, they will need to sell him this month.
Everton are rumoured to be interested and supposedly are willing to pay £5m for Chambers, which would no doubt suit both parties.
