Who have the top six signed so far?

By Jonny Bray
All of the traditional top six need to invest in their teams this summer.
Liverpool are switching their attack up while Manchester City need a striker.
Chelsea have very few defenders, and United are in turmoil, while Arsenal and Spurs both need to invest to get back into the Champions League.
It looks like it will be an incredibly busy summer, with the Premier League starting early due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
This means that United, City, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea only have until the 5th August before the season starts again.
With that in mind, let's take a look at who the top six have signed so far.

Arsenal

The Gunners have made some exciting signings so far this summer.
Fábio Vieira joined the club for £31.5 million, with many saying that he could be the glue that binds this Arsenal midfield together.
He was joined in north London by USA goalkeeper Matt Turner who will likely be used as a backup to Aaron Ramsdale.
The club has also looked to the future, signing Brazilian teenager Marquinhos from Sao Paulo.

Chelsea

Chelsea are yet to sign a player this summer.
However, their squad will be boosted by the returns of two immensely promising young talents.
Armando Broja returns from his loan at Southampton, while Conor Gallagher is back after catching the eye at Crystal Palace last season.

Liverpool

Liverpool have enjoyed an exciting start to their summer transfer window.
They signed Benfica's Darwin Núñez amid considerable fanfare for £67.5 million as well as add-ons.
He will be joined at Anfield next season by hot prospect and former Fulham midfielder Fábio Carvalho.
Carvalho was one of the most creative players ever to grace the Championship and, at 19 years old, he still has a long career ahead of him.
Finally, there is Calvin Ramsay.
The highly-rated Scotland star is one for the future after joining from Aberdeen.

Manchester City

The signing of Erling Haaland was one of the worst-kept secrets in football.
The striker will undoubtedly play a significant role for City next season.
He is the only player City have signed so far this summer, but with so much competition in the Premier League next season, you can be sure they'll go after more.

Manchester United

Despite being linked with every player to have ever come within one hundred miles of the Johan Cruijff Arena, United are yet to sign a player this summer.
This has sent some Red Devils fans into meltdown, but they should not panic.
They have been closely linked with exciting young stars such as Frenkie de Jong and Antony.

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham have moved to assemble a squad that will compliment world-class manager Antonio Conte.
Yves Bissouma is the most exciting player to join Spurs, but the move is tainted by the fact that the midfielder is awaiting the outcome of a police investigation into claims of sexual assault.
Spurs have also signed Croatian icon Ivan Perišić, who is a favourite of Conte, as well as experienced English goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
